2014 will see new legislation introduced in an effort to regulate Bailiffs.
The new rules are to include:
- Further restrictions on the type of property which can be seized
- Certification and training requirements
- Banning entry to homes where children are present
- No ‘late night’ visits
- Prevention of self regulating fees
- Removal from the industry those who break the rules
